Microsoft has come up with something bigger this time. It has announced that its office will be free for the devices which are less than 10-inches. In the past, Microsoft also introduced its office app having free to create and edit for iPhone, iPad, and android users.
The company has also recently announced good news about windows 8 that it will be free to upgrade even for users who are using pirated versions. And, now, this time also, the company has announced free service news that the devices less than 10-inches will be free to use Microsoft Word.
The corporate vice president for the Office 365 Client Apps and Services team at Microsoft, Kirk Koenigsbauer, has officially confirmed it on office.com blog. Here is the official statement:
We are classifying anything with a screen size of 10.1 inches or less as a true mobile device: It’s probably not a “pro” category tablet that is used for design or presentations. On these devices, the core editing and viewing experience is free, until you get to those premium, subscription features.”
