YouTube turns your phone into a live-streaming machine

YouTube is offering live video Streaming through mobile WatchMe.  Android developers can embed into any App with the live streaming features.  Smartphone manufacturers such as Sony and HTC deliver suitable hardware.
The colleague pushes more overtime, while you’re already in concert and you want to talk big  about it now. Or your relatives oversea to watch live, as your child takes his first steps on YouTube go live and in color. However, the bottleneck is still to find the right app for Android, with which you can send the live stream. YouTube has recognized the problem and created an interface to bridge the gap between your camera app and the video platform.
Our friends at trend Explorer have pointed us to the interesting project. Google has initiated WatchMe is a open-source project that allows developers to integrate the creation of live streams via YouTube in your Android applications. The capabilities of the system are demonstrated via GitHub available application.
Users can start and stop the transmission via a simple user interface with a finger. The recordings can be called later and can be recommended by other users via Google+. The project is currently in the development phase.
